Some affiliate marketing programs are two-tier programs, wherein the affiliate is also allowed to recommend other affiliates to the merchant. In such affiliate programs, the affiliate would not only be paid for the traffic or sales that he would direct to the merchantís site but also for the traffic or sales directed by the affiliates who signed up with the program through his recommendation.

Yet another way of earning more profits with affiliate marketing is through residual affiliate programs. Residual affiliate programs are affiliate programs where the affiliate gets paid a number of times for as long as the merchant keeps the customer the affiliate has referred to his site. One form of residual program gets the affiliate paid a commission every time the referred customer purchases something on the merchantís site. Another form of residual affiliate program gets the affiliate paid a percentage every month for as long as the company keeps the referred customer.

With a lot of options available and a lot of ways to earn money, affiliate marketing is undoubtedly the most popular and the easiest way to make money by selling other peopleís products online. As to how much money one can get from affiliate marketing actually depends on the affiliate. A dedicated and hardworking affiliate would certainly get more from the program compared to those affiliates who would simply sign up and forget about the program later.

Is it good for Obama – or any politician — to base US job creation on greater US exports?

I’m a reluctant Obama supporter, but I was struck by part of the President’s State of the Union address where he put fdescribed efforts to increase US exports as a key element in his job-creation program.

I’m wondering – can any private sector or governmental effort to increase US exports succeed, without also driving down the costs of U.S. labor — in comparison, say, with Chinese labor?

So when a Democrat or a Republican president talks to the voters about increasing American competitiveness, how good can this actually be for the average American standard of living?

Won’t most “export-based” and “competitive” policies to help American companies succeed in foreign markets eventually lead to wage cutbacks here in the US?

Also, if the government or the private sector tries to secure US job growth by pursuing greater success for American goods in foreign markets — doesn’t this inadvertently make the US economy more dependent on foreigner consumers, big and small?

Doesn’t an “export-oriented” economic policy, public or private, make the US economy less capable of being tweaked by our national elected leaders, either for good or for evil?

From a nationalistic & national security standpoint, might it be safer for Obama and the Republicans to promote job creation through the production of goods and services sold here at home?

Sony Started as a radio repair shop, founded by Masuru Ikura and Akio Morita after Would War II. The company began its long history of producing compact consumer electronics in 1957, when it introduced the World’s first pocket-sized all-transistor radio. The company’s name, Sony, was taken from Sony, the Latin word for “sound” Sony went on to invest a series of transistor-based TVs and increasingly smaller audiocassette recorders. In 1979, the Sony Walkman introduced the World to a new, portable way of listening to music. Sony became a world leader in consumer electronics and was the first Japanese company to have its shares traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

In the late 1980s, Sony began expanding into media, purchasing a U.S. record company (CSB records for $22 billion in 1988). And a major Hollywood studio (Columbia Pictures for $4.9 billion in 1989). The purchases made Sony a major force in the entertainment industry.

The importance of marketing at Sony started with Akio Morita, who said that for a company to be successful, it must have three kinds of creativity: creativity to make inventions, creativity in planning and production, and creativity in marketing.

Creativity in marketing at Sony means not just cleaver ads, but deep insight into its customers. For example, Sony knows its playstation customers like to find clues and to decode things. So Sony’s ads for playstation 2, like “Signs,” feature a young man walking the streets of a city where he encounters various signs foreshadowing the events. Mannequins appear in a store window, arms outstretched, and point enigmatically to something that’s about to happen. “The lead character is almost in the midst of his own role-playing game. He needs to follows clues to save the heroine”, said Andrew House, Sony’s executive vice president of marketing. In the ads, “we were essentially trying to tap into a range of emotions that we think we deliver in the games – intrigue, forebonding, excitement, panic, relief and achievement at the end”.

Sony’s marketing also includes careful measurement of each campaign’s effectiveness. Foe example, Sony runs 30-second commercials for its Playstation as part of the previews in more than 1,800 theatres and on 8,000 movie screens. The ads appear before such films as “The Cat in the Hat”. Sony Computer Entertainment America has been running movie ads for six years.” Cinema advertising has been very effective for us”, said Amil Blaire, director of product marketing.” The reason why we have committed to cinema every year is the tremendous unaided recall shown by our own research and communicus – commissioned ad tracking”.

Another example of measurement is Sony’s GenY youth marketing efforts. “The online program promoting the NetMD ATRAC CD Walkman and Cybershot U30 ran July 1 through September 30, 2003, and we found that more than 70 percent static banners”, said Serge Del Grosso, Director of Media and Internet Strategy, Sony Electronics”.

In fact, Sony has even developed a direct-marketing solution which it sells to other companies who want to measure marketing effectiveness. The product, called eBridge[TM], allows marketers to use video, measure the effectiveness of the campaign, and gain insight into the target audience, all in one package.

Sony expects that the next big breakthrough will not come from a single new electronic device.Rather, Sony President Kunitake Ando says that the future lies in making a whole range of devices more usefully linking them in a networked home-entertainment system. The company believes that its clout in consumer electronics, combined with its media content, will allow it to steer that convergence in a way that suits it. Whether the future of convergence resides in TV’s or PC’s or devices , $62-billion Sony makes every one of them- with a strong brand name that gives them an extra push off retail shelves around the world.

Incidentally, the most popular and the fastest growing method of selling other people’s products online is affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing, in its simplest definition, is a relationship between an online merchant or retailer, who has products to sell, and his affiliates, who are willing to promote the merchant’s product on their website.

Starting to make money online with affiliate marketing is relatively quick and easy. All that one has to do is to sign up as an affiliate for an online company that offers affiliate programs. An alternative method, and usually an easier one, is to sign up as a member of an affiliate network—a network that hosts a variety of affiliate programs for different online merchants or retailers. Signing up is usually free, although other companies and networks may require you to pay a particular fee. Such fees, however, are made as payment for additional services that the company may render, like providing you with tools and assistance to jumpstart your online business.

When you sign up with an affiliate marketing program, you are usually required to fill out a form containing information about yourself. Some affiliate programs may also require you to present the URL of your website and describe its contents. This will allow the retailers to verify that you actually have a website with contents that are relevant to their products. Some affiliate programs, however, won’t require you to have a website. After filling out the form and all, you are then allowed to choose the affiliate programs you want to promote.

Many affiliate marketing programs compensate their affiliates in either of three ways: pay-per-click (PPC), pay-per-sale (PPS), or pay-per-lead (PPL). In pay-per-click affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever he directs traffic to the merchant’s site. PPS and PPL affiliate marketing programs work rather differently. In PPS, the affiliate only gets paid when his referral converts into an actual sale. In typical PPS affiliate programs, the affiliate would usually get 15% to 20% commission for each conversion. PPL affiliate programs work the same way, although affiliates are paid a fixed fee whenever his referral converts into a lead for the company.

Some affiliate marketing programs are two-tier programs, wherein the affiliate is also allowed to recommend other affiliates to the merchant. In such affiliate programs, the affiliate would not only be paid for the traffic or sales that he would direct to the merchant’s site but also for the traffic or sales directed by the affiliates who signed up with the program through his recommendation.

Yet another way of earning more profits with affiliate marketing is through residual affiliate programs. Residual affiliate programs are affiliate programs where the affiliate gets paid a number of times for as long as the merchant keeps the customer the affiliate has referred to his site. One form of residual program gets the affiliate paid a commission every time the referred customer purchases something on the merchant’s site. Another form of residual affiliate program gets the affiliate paid a percentage every month for as long as the company keeps the referred customer.

I know you’re probably thinking I’m being crazy about the dayum GQ thing b/c I have posted like 4 questions about it haha but I wanted to share this interview if you haven’t read it already. It’s long and I really liked it – they actually asked them different questions then usual O.O

When Tokio Hotel start their 32 shows heavy first part of their “Welcome to Humanoid City” tour, their concerts take place in places like the Olympia Stadium in Moscow, in Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Rome and (for now) only two German dates in Oberhausen and Hamburg (on the 26. and 28. February). One sign that the school friends from Magdeburg with their melancholical-metallic glam rock have long since become world stars.
The 20 year old twins Bill (singer) and Tom Kaulitz (guitarist) tell us after a spectacular GQ photoshoot in Hamburg how Tokio Hotel find their way as style-wise individualistic, as well as creative and ready to fight young artists in a world that has yet to learn to respect them.

Bill and Tom Kaulitz. We’re meeting you without your two band mates Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer. Are they insulted?

Tom: Not at all. They thank us and pull up a chair.

Bill: If it were up to Gustav and Georg, they’d just play bass and drums in Tokio Hotel and keep out of everything else.

Is the band divided?

Bill: Not at all. That difference has been obvious pretty much from the beginning: they’d rather leave the whole stuff with pictures, interviews and red carpets to us. Six or seven years ago, only small town papers wanted to talk to us, but even then it was mostly Tom and me who represented the band.

Your two colleagues still live in Magdeburg, but you have moved to Hamburg five years ago.

Bill: Gustav and Georg did live, here, too, during our first recording sessions, but they moved back, really quickly. To be honest, I can’t quite understand that. But maybe Tom and I were special cases. Our childhood was really rough. Going to school in a village near Magdeburg felt horrible. We were so glad to get out of there.

A lot of images from those years can be found on the internet. Is an embarrassing childhood not private? How did those pictures get there?

Bill: A lot of those have been published by former class mates. Others we gave to the press ourselves: baby- and childhood pictures of us, as well as impressions of former gigs, when Tokio Hotel was still Devilish.

You don’t need a photo album, anymore – you can just google your memories.

Bill: Recently, we made the resolution to take more pictures. We travel into so many beautiful cities, we get to do and see so many thing, that is something that should be captured… Then we realised: we don’t have to! We always have a camera team with us. We’ve given up on privately taking pictures.

With a lot of other German teenager pop-bands the hype ended after one season. Tokio Hotel on the other hand are a world hit with an MTV award, sold-out concerts in Europe and chart positions in the US. To keep up with the demands: is it necessary to decide to live your life completely in public?

Bill: Tom and I have made that decision, yes. Including all of the negative aspects – but we have learned to live with it. It only gets bad when people get pulled into that who don’t want it: parents, family, friends. We’re doing everything we can to protect them from the public’s curious eye. But it’s become difficult to lead a normal life to whoever carries the name Kaulitz, nowadays.

Being a popstar, even if you have to sacrifice a normal life almost completely – when exactly did you make that decision?

Bill: At 15. That was when our fist single “Durch den Monsun” was released. It was amazing when that went through the roof. Then the first headlines appered…

Tom: … and we got the full program, right away!

Bill: The first stories in the tabloids had been there, before. And when our song was played on the radio and the demands grew, we did ask ourselves: what’s happening, here? What are we getting into? For example, I left a glass lying around somewhere, and you could buy that on ebay the next day. But experiences like that are educational. We started early and started to learn early, accordingly. Tokio Hotel is not a job, it’s our life. Outside of that, there’s hardly anything left, no more than the family. For that one year in which we produced our new album we had planned on not ending up in the press. That hasn’t worked, at all.

Tom: There’s no switch to turn. No end of the day.

Have you ever been in doubt? There are celebs who can switch off more easily, because they keep on the down-low.

Bill: Of course I’ve asked myself: would I do the same things, again? We can see that with old school friends. They go to university or get their first experiences in jobs. Things we don’t know. Luckily, I always get to the point where I realise that
what I do is a calling for me. What else should I do? I can’t live with the success, but I can’t live without it, either.

But music also runs in the family. Your step-father plays in a band, too. Is it true that he got you into rock&roll?

Bill: He never talked us into it. He just made music and there were instruments around the house. At some point, the two of us just had a go at them. Once our step-father realised that Tom kept playing around with the guitar, he explained the basic things to him. But it wasn’t like in school. We don’t let anyone teach us. Tom and I have a serious problem with authority.

Was that the reason you moved out so early?

Bill: As I said, we could hardly stand living in the small town. And our studio is in Hamburg.

Tom: At first, we often went home. But for the last four years, we’ve lived here, 100% We share a studio apartment. A boys-only dorm with four dogs. We can’t imagine it any other way. I don’t think that one of us would ever move out.

It still
sounds odd for outsiders. Of course, brothers stick together – but that they hardly ever fight and share almost everything…

Bill: (interrupts) … Hold on. I couldn’t imagine that with brothers. You can’t forget that we’re identical twins. That’s something special, that’s the difference.

Tom: That I sit around and think that I could use an hour without Bill, never happens. We’d have enough room in the apartment to keep out of each other’s ways – and yet we hang around in the living room together all day, if we have the time. We only ever go into different rooms to sleep.

You’re both vegetarians. Was that a joint decision, too?

Tom&Bill: (at the exact same moment) Yes! (laugh)

Tom: that wouldn’t work any other way. It would be unbearable for one if the other still ate meat.

Bill: That decision was for the animals. Even though I loved meat, before! I practically lived off burgers. But thankfully, there are a lot of good alternatives.

Tom: Just don’t think we’re on a wellness trip! W
We still eat pizza, hot dogs, burgers – just without the meat – all day long. It’s still deliciously unhealthy. Just missing the meat.

That much harmony is scary, even with twins. Did you never hate each other?

Bill: Yes, temporarily. At 13, we were at war for a year. We were going through puberty and were testing our boundaries. At the time, we had separate friends, and each spent a lot of time with his girlfriend. We grew apart in that time a bit.

Tom: By now, we even have the same friends.

Did the music bring you back together?

Bill: This common project of ours is pretty much the only thing that remained constant over time. Even when we didn’t get along. We always took the band very seriously. Georg and Gustav were a bit different, at the beginning: they saw music as their hobby. Georg sometimes skipped practice. Tom and I were a lot more serious and determined. And you can’t forget that we only played in front of ten people in the youth centre.

Tom: It’s still like that, toda
It can get really taxing, because we want to control everything, no matter how complicate things get because of it. Each picture that is being released has to be given a green light by us. Decisions can take ages, because everyone wants to have a say in it.

Bill: We are hardly ever really satisfied. We are control freaks, complete perfectionists. I did try to be more relaxed, recently. But letting go and giving things into a stranger’s hands – that’s really hard for me when it comes to the band.

Is that the Achilles heel of the Kaulitz brothers?

Tom: We don’t carry around questions that we don’t want to be asked about.

Bill: When we come off the stage when something went wrong, we’re all silent. Nobody talks.

Have there ever been problems that weren’t worth all the drama? That the company got the wrong colour for the cover or something?

Tom: (breathes deeply) Now that would be a catastrophe. I’d blow up.

Bill: If something like that were to happen, I couldn’t sleep properly for
a year… But I do remember something: some of our songs from Humanoid had been online, illegally, three months before the album was released. I could hardly believe that somebody would steal the art from us that we put so much time and energy into.

A very widely spread problem, nowadays. How did you react?

Bill: We will not hand over music to companies, beforehand, anymore. It gets into the wrong hands, there, sometimes. We were careful, before, but we learned from that.

Tom: Everything needs to stay in the smallest circle possible. On a business level, there are so many involved in Tokio Hotel: the German label, the French one, Interscope in the States, and and and. There is an uncountable amount of people involved you can’t control.

If music is such an emotional topic, doesn’t the band project endanger the love between brothers?

Tom: You could see it that way. Theoretically. We both have the problem that we tend to focus on the negative aspects of things. If there is one bad mes
message, we forget the 20 good ones we got, before. Bad news make you improve the situation. You can just move on from positive things.

Bill: That’s the typical twin thing. When I’m happy, Tom has 10000 things in his mind. And the other way around. That we can sit next to each other on a couch, all relaxed, happens once a year.

Tom: Actually, I don’t think it happened in the last five years.

It’s almost as if one can hear that in your music. Teenager bands usually sound light, less dark and selling things – the Tokio Hotel songs have always been surprisingly dark, serious and lacking a childlike naiveté. How on earth could you two pig-headed boys agree on one musical style?

Bill: Good question. In private, we only ever fight about music. He only listens to hip hop and I listen to all kinds of things. We can’t understand each other in that respect.

Tom: When we started out, it was really easy. We had no choice! We never sat down and talked: let’s sound like this or that band. We we
were capable of. It’s interesting how that unique style that came of it lasted until today. There is a thread going through all of our works, a clear line.

When one sees you, today – the glamorous, alien-like Bill and the earthed streetstyler Tom – one would never think that you are twins. When was the point at which you developed in different directions?

Bill: That complicated to explain. We just wanted to get out of the other’s shadow at some point. Out of that annoying, public twin existence. Imagine that. At school, it was always: the twins here and the twins there… On the other hand, I think it’s natural that each would develop his on personality that we do everything together. Or maybe not.

Tom: I’d put it this way: Everything that one complete human being has in itself, we distributed among the two of us. Each of us has chosen his part and specialised in his area of expertise. Bill is more the creative type, I’m more on the business side. If you add that up, we’re one person,
one human being. Just a very versatile one.

Does that also mean that you’ve never been rivals, in all those years?

Bill: We never thought about who is the favourite son and who’s the black sheep. We were always a team. Like I said, we moved out at 15, earned our own money. We didn’t have time for childish shenanigans – it all happened very early. Sometimes I feel like mine and Tom’s life has moved twice as fast, because each taught the other what he learned. Identical twins grow up faster, because they share everything. Including experience.

Like a human with four ears.

Tom&Bill: Exactly!

Tom: An only child only lives through everything once, has only one point of view. We always shared everything. Looked at every aspect.

Bill: Our mother always told us that once she had turned off the lights in our room in the evening, it was no question that we would lie awake for at least another hour to tell us things and discuss them. In a way, it’s still like that.

Did you tell your mother
When we’re all grown up, we’ll buy you a Cadillac!

Bill: Not quite, but we always wanted to be independent with our pocket money. We were keeping book that we had enough for clothes, cell phone and the likes. Having responsibility was never something threatening for us. I already felt better at 15, when I knew that I could pay for my own rent and fill my fridge.

Did you ever wish for another brother or sister?

Bill: No, not really.

Tom: That would have been really difficult for the new baby. We always had a very strong connections – outsiders never get in 100%. Not even imaginary siblings.

Bill: Maybe it would have worked with half a year in between, but that’s not really possible, biologically. (laughs)

What would have happened, if only one you had become famous? Could you have remained inseparable twin friends?

Tom: I think so! Maybe it would have developed into different directions, at first. One would have become a musician and the other could have gone to uni. But at the p
point where one of us would have become really successful, he would have pulled the other in, as well. Bill would have made me his manager. Or had I studied industrial design, I would have hired him.

Bill: No rumours out of this, please. What I’m about to say it merely a game of thoughts. But should I ever sing anywhere else, outside of Tokio Hotel, I could never do that without Tom. Even if I was alone on a picture, I’d need him behind me and support me in words and action. We just don’t work properly on our own.

‘The church is located 7930 Eastern Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20012. The church formerly belonged to Beth Shalom Hebrew Congregation. Since the church built for the Jewish religion everything in and out is completed for the Hebrew. The church purchased by Ethiopian Evangelical Church in October 15, 1995. The front of the church has Ten Commandments written in Hebrew language. The back of the church shows that the church was built in 1957. The outside of the church is made up of red bricks. The church is in a remote location. It is very big church compare to the other churches. It holds about one thousand one hundred people. Especially Sunday it’s very busy and on the New Year day there’s no space to sit even on the floor.
The entrance of the church has a small stairway which runs along a path. The path by the stairway is made up of a beautiful ceramic tile on the right side. The whole path has a counter with people selling DVD’s, books and CD’s. On the left side of the path is the main entrance of the church.
The Sanctuary of the church has folding chairs that can be fold up and down and it’s made up of carpet and the front of the sit there is container that can hold books or different material. The back sit is high so the front of the pulpit can be seeing easily and it is going down like a mountain. The pulpit is made for the Hebrews and it has white natural stone designed so stunning and has light to go with it. The front of the pulpit have two stairs one can go up and one can go down the front of the pulpit is very decorative by flower and the wall have a wooden cross on it.
The ceiling have very large dented circle with six stars on it. The large circle has very bright light and big microphone on it. The floors are made up of small ceramic tile and the red carpet leads the way to the pulpit. The walls are made for Hebrew that have the David stars connected each others that are paint with golden color. The rest of the wall is painted with light green color and also have about ten wooden container connected with the wall that can hold the flowers. Beside the pulpit after the front seat has an emergency exit that has two doors that takes directly leads to outside of the back doors. The walls have in total ten windows each side is five that have white curtains in side and red valances out side.
The church has one stairs up that takes to the bath rooms for men and women and daycare for kids’ age six month to four years and also have several office. The middle stairs that can takes to the main pastor office and the youth pastor office and also have different offices, and one office that can put DVD and CD and several recorder.

The back doors also has a entrance that takes to big whole way usually Sunday until the youth program started the youth hangout in the whole way. The whole way on the right side has two pastors office and the maintain office. On the left side of the whole way that takes to the small chapel that can hold two hundred people. The chapel has individual sit on it and the window is much designed widows no curtains are necessary. After the chapel there is room that can hold at least five hundred people that is designed for the weeding very decorated for Hebrew. The roof is very decorated by design chandelier light bulb. The room have two kitchen one very big it have waking refrigerator and very big oven and stove. The small kitchen has small stove and food preparing area. The church has three stares every satire has bath room for man and woman. ‘

Do you have a great product or service but find it hard to get traffic to your website? Do you find yourself wondering how you could make yourself more visible on the internet? One of the biggest problems currently facing online merchants is how to get people to their sites to buy their products.

Affiliate programs are one way to address this common problem. Affiliate marketing is a mutually beneficial practice that helps merchants, customers, and “affiliates.” You may not have heard of affiliate programs before, but you’ve definitely seen them. You’ve heard of Amazon.com right?

What are Affiliate Programs?

An affiliate program is an excellent way of getting other websites to sell or promote your product or service for a commission. Affiliate programs are arrangements between an online merchant website and an affiliate website—the affiliate posts a link to the merchant site and is paid a commission for any traffic or sold items. Posting links with affiliates is an excellent way to sell products online, and it is an inexpensive and effective marketing strategy.

There are three core players in the affiliate game: the merchant, the affiliate, and the customer. Merchants favor affiliate marketing because in most cases it uses a “pay for performance” model, meaning that the merchant does not have to pay a marketing expense unless someone buys the product.

You have no doubt seen links to Amazon.com on tons of sites other than their own—this is because Amazon gets affiliates to post links to individual books for sale on Amazon, or for Amazon in general, by giving the affiliates a percentage of the profits if someone clicks on the link and then purchases books or other items. The affiliates help make the sale, but Amazon does everything else: they take the order, collect the money and ship the book to the customer. Amazon’s affiliate program is one of the most successful ones out there.

What are the different kinds of affiliate programs?

There are three basic types of affiliate program payment arrangements:

Pay-per-sale (also called cost-per-sale): In this arrangement, the merchant pays an affiliate when the link on the affiliate’s site leads to a customer purchasing something from the merchant’s site.

Pay-per-click (cost-per-click): In this arrangement, the merchant pays the affiliate based on the number of visitors who click on the link to the merchant’s site. The visitors don’t have to buy anything, and it doesn’t matter to the affiliate what a visitor does once he or she gets to the merchant’s site.

Pay-per-lead (cost-per-lead): In this arrangement, merchants pay their affiliates based on the number of visitors they refer who fills out some requested information at the merchant site, which the merchant site may use as a sales lead or sell to another company as a sales lead.

So why should I use an affiliate program?

You will become a lot more visible to a lot more people. Because your banners and links are placed on other sites you will greatly increase your online publicity.

You will have other people marketing your product and services, so it’s not all up to you.

Your sales will increase dramatically.

You will appear “bigger” than you are and your credibility will be increased.

It’s not expensive or complicated.

What you need to consider before you begin:

If you are interested in getting involved in affiliate programs, the first thing you have to do is decide whether you want to become an affiliate, want to acquire affiliates, or both. If you run a large merchant site and want to increase your sales, you might want to start your own affiliate program. If you run a small content site and would simply like to bring in a little money to cover production costs, joining a few programs as an affiliate would be a good choice. Your best option depends on what aspects of affiliate programs could best serve your site and how much you are willing to spend.

You need to decide what the objectives of your affiliate program are before you decide which option to choose. Some questions to consider include:

What kind of affiliate program is best for my business; that is, do you want to pay affiliates for actual sales, clicks or leads only?
